School Story
South was a fine school. I was privileged to be there. At one of the past reunions I looked up my favorite teacher Sheila Norton, and took her out to dinner. All our teachers were great individuals. They deserve credit and some kind thoughts.
I felt a kinship with the other students who left at noon some days, for home study or part-time jobs. Some us were "really grown up" and met in a restaurant for lunch. I worked at Midwest Cycle shop. I rode a Honda 305, or my restored Indian. The three cylinder Triumph came out that year. A four cylinder Honda followed later.
It was fun to read the list of students just now. I remember some of you very well, and I'd like to say a great big Hi:
John Kleine, Mimi McClusky, Wendy Paine, Nick Rice, and Court Saunders
