School Story

Marching band, wrestling, cross country, auto mechanics, physics lab assistant, tutor to many, rocket & chess club, and mainly a shy nerd. Loved playing guitar and jaming with class mates like John Gurche. Too shy to date or be seen much in public events. Loved the Byrds concert but missed the Who. Always had a crush on Kathy Cawby and could never tell her. Favorite events were playing in pep band one year playing a sousaphone and marching in the American Royal Parade.

I knew Nick Rice from Nallwood Elementary school.  I remember him doing more sit ups in less time than anyone else in Gym class.  He was a good friend and at the time I felt the loss of so many like Nick that were caught up in the rush of the student revolt.  It is sad and he is still missed today.

What a loss, I am at a loss for words.  She came from such wonderful parents.  I only sat across from her in study hall but I loved every time.  She had a way of making you feel okay with life.
