Phyllis A. Hutchins , 59, Overland Park, 

KS passed away May 26, 2010. The Funeral 

Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, 

June 1, 2010, at Holy Spirit Catholic 

Church. Friends may call at 9:00 a.m. 

June 1, at the Church before the Mass. 

The family suggests memorial contributions 

be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma 

Society or to Kansas City Hospice. 

Mrs. Hutchins was born in Chicago, IL

and moved to Overland Park in 1968. 

She graduated from Shawnee Mission 

South High School in 1969. Prior to her 

illness she worked at Bishop Miege High 

School for the 16 years. She is survived 

by her husband of 37 years Jim, daughter, 

Jennifer (Eric) Nyman, granddaughter, 

Alyssa Hutchins , son, Christopher 

Hutchins , mother and father, Barbara 

and Robert Lackner, all of Overland 

Park, and two sisters, Karol Shartzer and 

Karen Grisell both of Olathe, KS.
